Boxborough, MA – September 2008 — Artel Video Systems, a leading provider of video over fiber optics transport equipment, announces the release of two new modules for the DL4000 Digital Video Transport System, the DLC170AD and the DLC170DA.
The DLC170AD converts Composite NTSC or PAL analog video and baseband audio to SDI (SMPTE 259M), while the DLC170DA converts SDI (SMPTE 259M) to Composite NTSC or PAL analog video and baseband audio. Both modules use industry standard optics SFP’s of 1310nm, 1550nm, CWDM or DWDM wavelengths with an optical budget of 36dB. Used as a pair the modules insure optical transport exceeding TV-1 RS250-C “Short Haul” specifications. More… »
