The Model 6020 Alarm Sensing Module is a single position plug-in card for use with the model 6000 card-cage. When installed, the Alarm Sensing Module senses a fault condition from any Fiberlink alarm-equipped transmission card/module plugged into the card-cage. When a fault occurs, a visual, audible and remote indication from the unit informs the user of the fault condition.

All operating power for the Alarm Sensing Module is provided by the Model 6000A card cage.
