What the Warranty Covers
Artel Video Systems (Artel) limited warranty applies only to Artel hardware purchased directly from Artel. Artel warrants that the Hardware product you purchase from us is free from defects in material and workmanship under normal use during the warranty period. The warranty period for the product starts on the original date of purchase as shown on your invoice or as otherwise specified by Artel. This warranty only applies to products in the country or region of purchase.
Product Limited Warranty Periods
- ARQ IP Streaming Systems – 2 years.
- DigiLink Media Transport Platform – 3 years.
- InfinityLink Media Transport Platform – 2 years.
- FiberLink Fiber Transmission Products – 3 years.
- Quarra PTP Ethernet Switches – 2 years.
- SMART Media Delivery Platform – 2 years.
THIS WARRANTY IS YOUR EXCLUSIVE WARRANTY AND REPLACES ALL OTHER WARRANTIES OR CONDITIONS, EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING, BUT NOT LIMITED TO, ANY IMPLIED WARRANTIES.
Additional Services Included in Warranty
- Technical Support during office hours
- Remote Assistance including troubleshooting during office hours
- Software Updates – Current version only
How to Obtain Warranty Service
A Return Material Authorization (RMA) number must be obtained from Artel before any equipment is returned by the Buyer. All materials must be shipped to Artel at the expense and risk of the Buyer. RMA numbers and repairs can be obtained from:

Repair or Replacement
It is at Artel’s option to either repair or replacement of defective units.
What the Warranty Does Not Cover
Artel shall not be obligated to replace or repair equipment that has been damaged by fire, war, acts of God, or similar causes, or equipment that has been serviced by unauthorized personnel, altered, improperly installed, or abused. In no event shall Artel be responsible for any incidental or consequential damages or loss of profits or goodwill.

Software
Artel warranties software for 90 days after purchase by the buyer.
