Signal Generators
One of the challenges of video transport is link verification. Many of these links must support multiple video formats as well as deal with the unique challenges of SDI pathological signals that can cause havoc on an optical network or video link. To address this, Artel developed the DLT710 Digital Video Generator and Test module for the DigiLink platform. This module generates both color bar and pathological test patterns for 3G-SDI, HD-SDI, SD-SDI. In addition, it can generate both DVB-ASI and ATSC signals for compressed video applications. With its low cost, and ability to generate all standard video formats in succession, the DLT710 is a ideal for verifying the quality of single or multi-format digital video circuits.
